Physical and virtual fashion worlds collide, yet at the same time they are in mutual connection. This dress is not only available in 3D for the digital world. First this garment was my physical favorite piece. Before this dress was made, I developed the pattern and had the ecological base fabric (organic satin 140, GOTS certificate) digitally printed. Now EVE can shine with me in partner look.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Kaja Froehlich-Buntsel
Digital fashion designer
Digital & physical Costume Designer based in Germany. Kaja Froehlich-Buntsel designs both digitally and physically extraordinary designs often with a historical context. After her studies as a technical designer and modelist, she acquired knowledge of old crafts and historical garments and cuts through several years of work as a garment master and costume designer at the theatre. She also completed an apprenticeship as a media designer and constantly trained herself in the latest techniques for web3 and 3d programs. The combination of these two worlds makes it possible for her to realize the unusual designs of abstract and fantastic image worlds and thus helps initiating a new age of digital fashion.
